The Cornish Seal Sanctuary is a rescue and rehabilitation centre for seals that are found in need of help around the Cornish coastline.

The Seal Sanctuary is run by the Sea-Life Trust charity and is located in Gweek, near Helston, on Cornwall’s Lizard Peninsula, not far from the A394 and about 50 minutes drive from Sennen Cove.

The Seal Sanctuary is open to visitors and is well worth a visit. For more information and prices, see the Cornish Seal Sanctuary website: sealsanctuary.sealifetrust.org (external link).

To visit a colony of seals in the wild, try a boat trip to Seal Island from St Ives, and to read more about seals and other marine life in the seas around Cornwall, see our Wildlife page.
